| Biography: The James Alan Band:
James Howe - Vocal, Guitar,Bass
Alan Kerr - Vocal, Percussion Instruments
Keith Lynch - Guitar, vocal
Kevin Balentine - Drums
This is not a likely meeting between these four but more an unlikely meeting. Their backgrounds and musical styles are varied and far between, but when combined they come up with some of the freshest and heartfelt new country music around. They all have a rock n' roll background that you can hear in the music but when you combine the lead vocals of James and Alan to it, then it's country all the way. James and Alan have a highly melodic sense when it comes to songwriting and the songs will have you humming a tune from the morning until night. All the band members have been on the music scene for many years playing and opening for acts such as: The Pure Prarie Leauge, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Beach Boys, Greg Kiln, Uriah Heep, Black Sabbath, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Head East, and Three Dog Night just to name a few. Now they want to spend as much time as they can in the recording studio. As to date they have over one hundred songs to be recorded. The magic in the music can be felt by all and it's that magic that keeps these guys doing what they do best-creating and capturing the emotion that comes through the heart and soul of The James Alan Band. |
